Kenny Gilmore & the Sangalala Afro Blues Band featuring Waliko Makhala!!!!
Kenny & Waliko are carrying out their tour of Malawi and studying musical genres all across the country as part of their film to be shown at this years Lake of Stars Festival.
On their way around Malawi studying varying forms of musical expression, they played a Gig at Gecko Lounge on Saturday the 19th July 2008 - accompanied by Kenny’s Sangalala Afro band members and bringing the “Kumwa Ndi Kovina” back to Gecko in true Sangalala Style.
A Huge success and one of the best nights in Gecko’s history, we have already booked them to come back just after the Lake of Stars event in October - date to be confirmed - but most probably the Monday 13th or Tuesday the 14th - don’t miss it!!!!
